Zumba, a Weight Loss Fitness Program

The goal of the most of us for 2017, is to have the dream body for this summer season, that we failed to have the years before. You may have been wondering to find a fitness program that will help you lose weight, but at the same time to have some fun? Well, Zumba is just the right one for you!

Let’s get some general information first. Zumba is a dance fitness program. It involves dance and aerobic movements (including squats and lunges), performed to energetic music. The choreography combines hip hop, salsa, samba, soca, merengue and mambo. Approximately 15 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 200,000 locations across 180 countries. Besides, the number of people who frequent Zumba has increased exponentially in these last years.

Some people find it really hard to train with strict exercises at the gym, but they also don’t want to leave behind exercising, because the appearance of their body is really important. Zumba, is just the perfect place for these ones. Meanwhile dancing under the rhythmic music, you will be able to loose the extra calories you have got through the week. As you can see in the photo it can help you burn 850 calories/hour, which is a significantly higher rate compared to running, jogging  and walking. As a result, if you commit hard enough you may see some muscles in your body too!
