Nike’s Moving, All-Star “Equality” Video

Nike’s “Equality” campaign is as beautiful as it is important. The company is kicking off the campaign with a short film directed by Beyoncé collaborator Melina Matsoukas, The Cut reports.

The gorgeous, black and white video has an all-star cast including LeBron James, Serena Williams, Kevin Durant, and Gabby Douglas. It’s narrated by Michael B. Jordan and features Alicia Keys singing Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come.” The overall effect is stunning and the message is resoundingly important.

Using the power of sport to stand up for a better world.

The video comes as Nike is launching its Black History Month line of shoes and a line of “Equality” t-shirts, which all go on sale February 16.

“The BHM collection has historically provided financial support to Nike’s Ever Higher Fund, which was created to bring mentorship, sport, and all of its benefits to youth and their communities,” Nike said in a release.
