Crush of the week – “La vie est un papillon”

Today’s crush is my favourite artist, Eltjon Valle.

Since the early 2000s he moved to study art, at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. He finished his bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in fine arts . In Milano he became one of the most known artists of his generation, since he was a student. His medium is oil, and he’s been using it in his although naturalistic representation. Thanks to his architectural landscapes, his portraits and his site specific interventions, he is one of the actually active artists living in this city.

For many years the he has continued (together with the Albanian government and with the Patos Marinza oil company’s collaboration) a project for environmental reclamation and cultural awareness which directly involves the local people and, in an indirect way, us too.

Eltjon Valle is one of the most well known artists of his generation thanks to his participation in the Biennale of Venice.

The medium used by the artist is oil, who lies buried in marine and land abysses, in order for it to come out and offer its energy by creating, building and destructing.

La vie est un papillon” the opera of the artist represents butterflies and oil, symbols of delicacy and power.

The art makes tangible the stuff of which dreams are made. My new project..
